Prior to attending my first Asilomar event, I was deeply inspired by reading "Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East" by Baird Spalding.  Two other readings that are important to me are "Science of Mind" by Ernest Holmes and "The Edinburgh Lectures on Mental Science" by Thomas Troward.
